mystified - Return of Plunderman [wh167] [11 Feb 2011|07:36am]

mystified13

"Return Of Plunderman" is the exciting sequel to "Adventures Of Plunderman". Tight loops plundered from vinyl were embellished with rhythms, sequences and other sounds to create an excellent aural experience. Hear the old and new meshed together, combined in synchronous ectasy! All mastered from 24-bit audio.

Mystified- Adventures Of Plunderman Remastered [treetrunk 131] [02 Feb 2011|04:40pm]

mystified13

In 2010 Mystified released the hit E.P., "Adventures Of Plunderman", both on his own Bandcamp page and on Webbed Hand Records. Hailed as a "plunderphonic wonder", "Adventures Of Plunderman" combined retro vinyl samples with state-of-the art electronic sounds and mixing.

Now, in February of 2011, you can hear the entire E.P. once again from a new standpoint-- ultra-high-fidelity. The FLAC files in this release are cut from 24-bit WAV files straight from the studio, and the mp3s are rendered from these WAV files, as well.

Enjoy the improved sound quality!

These journals are handmade and one of a kind! Each contains 75 hand-punched lined pages, and the books are fastened with binder rings so that they are refillable. And don't worry, vinyl lovers - most of the records used to create them were slightly scratched, so nothing went to waste.

Currently available are 2 Grease journals, 1 Fleetwood Mac and 1 Neil Diamond.

Hi, new member [10 Mar 2009|11:31pm]

[ mood | curious ]

I was wondering if anybody could help me with my questions.

I have about 15/16 old records and I mean old, I have several that are celebrating their 101st birthday and I was wondering if anybody had any advice on how to care for them, mainly in the cleaning and what type of environment I should keep them in.

So any advice would be great.

LP inventory [03 Mar 2009|07:55pm]

What would be an even better system is just keeping a lined blank book. Sometimes low-tech is the easiest and best way to go.
Keeping it in alphabetic order would be tricky. You'd have to kind of write things in odd places on the page so you could anticipate future purchases.
How do you keep a list or your LPs?

I've been playing around with different ways to make lists of which LPs I have. For a long time I used a spreadsheet on the computer, which was good, but it took a few steps to add something to it. Recently I thought I'd try discogs, which was good, but they seem way too picky, even providing different listings when something simply had a different etching/matrix number. I really don't think I want to be that specific, unless it's important, like on some Beatles titles.
Another factor... who's gonna want to see it? Me. I don't need to have it online or even on my computer.
Then today I decided once and for all the way I'm gonna do it. I bought this:

It's portable. It's specific as to catalog numbers. When I buy a title, I just get out a highlighter or colored pencil and mark it. There. My "have" list. I'll tote it with me if I go record-shopping.
So I can just sit in here in the living room with a stack of records and the Goldmine book and mark away.

i am looking for any kind of vinyl that has spooky or halloweeney artwork on the jacket. i dont really care who the artist is (altho, i already have alice cooper on the wall) and i dont care about the condition of the vinyl itself- i dont intend to listen to it, just frame it and hang it in my halloweeney kitchen. im kind of looking for old-skoolish things like misfits, alice cooper, iron maiden, ect. i dont want to spend a bunch of money since it will just be decoration.

please comment if youve got anything you feel might fit!

thanks!

Before looking, take note that:

All items are in Malaysia.
If possible, I would like to clear it all.
Offer anything that you think is reasonable.
